We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join our team as a Car Wash Attendant. This role plays a key part in delivering a top-tier customer experience by ensuring every vehicle leaves our facility sparkling clean and customers feel valued and appreciated. The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for operating car wash equipment, performing manual cleaning duties, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and contributing to the overall success of the wash site. Whether working with automatic tunnel systems, hand-washing vehicles, or detailing interiors, you’ll help uphold our high standards of service and cleanliness.

Job Responsibilities:

Vehicle Cleaning & Maintenance:

Guide vehicles into the car wash tunnel or cleaning bay safely and efficiently.

Perform exterior cleaning tasks using hand tools, hoses, pressure washers, brushes, and cleaning agents.

Vacuum car interiors, clean dashboards, windows, mirrors, door jambs, and other interior surfaces.

Apply waxes, protective coatings, and tire shine products as needed.

Dry vehicles manually using towels or air blowers to remove water spots.

Conduct pre- and post-wash vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and report any damage or issues.

Customer Service & Experience:

Welcome customers warmly and answer questions regarding services, pricing, and specials.

Explain wash packages and recommend additional services based on customer needs (e.g., interior detailing, premium wax).

Handle customer concerns and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.

Maintain a friendly and respectful demeanor at all times, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

Site Operations & Safety:

Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the wash area, vacuum stations, waiting areas, and bathrooms.

Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and other supplies throughout the day.

Regularly check and maintain wash equipment, reporting any mechanical or safety issues immediately.

Adhere to all safety guidelines related to the use of equipment, chemicals, and vehicles.

Participate in opening and closing procedures, including equipment checks and site clean-up.

Salary: 22.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Prior experience in a car wash, auto detailing, or customer service role is advantageous but not required—training is provided.

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment: standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, and working in wet or hot conditions.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions with attention to detail.

Work Environment:

Most duties performed outdoors or in semi-covered areas.

Frequent exposure to water, soap, and cleaning chemicals (protective equipment is provided).

Fast-paced environment with exposure to moving vehicles and mechanical equipment.
