Job Title: Steel Fixer
Location: Qatar
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Fixer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and securing steel bars and mesh used to reinforce concrete structures. This role is essential in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of buildings and infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh to required dimensions.
Tie rebar using hand tools and wire to reinforce concrete.
Place and fix reinforcement steel at the correct location and spacing.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with other construction professionals such as engineers and concrete workers.
Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a steel fixer or in a similar role.

Good teamwork and communication skills.
NVQ Level 2 in Steel Fixing or equivalent (preferred but not essential).

May require working at height or in confined spaces.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times.
