Job Title: Hotel Cashier

The Hotel Cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions, processing guest payments, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of all cash and credit transactions. They provide excellent customer service while maintaining the financial integrity of the hotel.
Job Responsibilities:
Cash Handling & Transactions:
Process payments for guest check-ins, check-outs, restaurant bills, and other hotel services.
Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions securely and accurately.
Issue receipts and invoices to guests.
Guest Interaction & Service:
Provide friendly and professional service to hotel guests.
Answer guest inquiries related to billing and payment procedures.
Resolve payment disputes or escalate issues to the appropriate department.
Financial Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of daily transactions.
Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
Prepare and submit daily cash reports to the finance department.
Compliance & Security:
Follow hotel policies and financial procedures.
Ensure compliance with cash handling and fraud prevention protocols.
Keep confidential financial and guest information secure.
Salary: 3500Euro

Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance or hospitality is a plus.
Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role (preferred).
Strong numerical and basic accounting skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) is a plus.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Work Conditions:
Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Standing for extended periods.
Interaction with guests from diverse backgrounds.
